Fighter Practice Sites
The following sites have "summer" and "winter" in their group headings, but don't look at the date to decide where to head. Usually, the fighters decide when to change locales for the season by talking it over at gatherings or on the CAM e-mail list when they see the weather starting to change. The best way to find out where to go would be to look at the Calendar page of this site or check with the Knight's Marshall (our officer generally in charge of armored combat activities) or Rapier Marshall.
So now that you can figure out where we will be, come hit people with sticks! Or metal, if you're an unarmored/rapier/light weapons fighter!
Or come watch people get hit with sticks!
Or come sit in the gallery area and ignore the fighters while you sew, do hand-work, socialize, dance, eat, drink, and/or be merry!
After fighting, the fighters typically go next door (to the restaurant/bar) or down the street for food and/or beverages.

Lake Park
Kinnickinic Parkway
Parkway Dr between S 22nd & S 20th St. in Milwaukee
* Can be reached at one end via 27th St., just north of St. Luke's Hospital on 27th & Oklahoma.
* The greenspace on Parkway Dr. is just north of the baseball field, south of the archery range.

Winter / Indoor Sites
Marquette U., Practice Space East
(a.k.a. "Old Open Pantry/O.P. Spot")
Our fighter practice space at Marquette University ("Practice Space East") used to be an Open Pantry convenience store, but the storefront is now empty of anything significant, including signs, I think. (There may still be a red awning with the words "OPEN PANTRY" in white over the 16th St. door, but it may also be gone or go away at any time.) M.U. lets student groups use it for meetings and practices.

Marquette U., The Annex
The Annex is a bar/restaurant/gym/bowling alley, located at the corner of 16th and Wells - a couple doors south of the Practice Space East, on the same block, with the same parking. To reach the gym, go downstairs and jog left, then continue straight to the end of the hall. There is table space and chairs for non-fighters. There's a restaurant and bar attached. There's bathrooms. There's an elevator. There's even a bowling alley.
After fighting, folks typically go next door (to the restaurant/bar), or down the street, for food and/or beverages.
