Cardinal Stritch College
There are students at Cardinal Stritch College who are playing with our club, the local chapter of the SCA, and they have been kind enough to invite us to use their facilities from time to time. So this page shold help you find our usual locations. So far, we have always used the Ruth S. Coleman building / Roger Bacon Hall. The building wall sports both names, but the first one is larger and easier to spot, above the second.
Finding The Campus Itself
The official address for the Cardinal Stritch College campus is 6801 N. Yates Road, Milwaukee, WI 53217.
However, a more convenient address for use from points west, or when using highway 43 to reach campus, is "the driveway just north of Junior Achievement." JA's address is 6924 North Port Washington Road, Milwaukee, WI 53217-3995; use the driveway just north of that; it has big Cardinal Stritch signs standing in the center median. Turning east into this driveway points you toward the heart of campus.

Within Campus, one building we use is Ruth S. Coleman building / Roger Bacon Hall. To find it, use the map above to find LOT 8. Park in LOT 8, and enter the Ruth S. Coleman building / Roger Bacon Hall (marked as E on the map) through the gray double doors next to the lot.
Conference Room in Ruth S. Coleman building / Roger Bacon Hall
Uses of this space include, but are not limited to:
- Curia (Business Meetings)
Park in LOT 8, and enter the Ruth S.Coleman building / Roger Bacon Hall (marked as E on the map) through the gray double doors next to the lot. Go through a second set of double doors into the stairwell, and enter the hall to your left. Turn right, and walk to the end of that ground-floor hall. Turn right at the T-intersection. Walking down the hall, you will see the kitchen through windows to your left and a courtyard to your right. Turn left at the intersection just before you get to the point where the floor ramps upward. Follow it all the way around the turns -- it turns without branching -- until it dead ends, which is at the Conference Room. The Conference Room we use is literally at the end of the hall, across from the "Blue Room".
Judo Room in Ruth S. Coleman building / Roger Bacon Hall
Uses of this space include, but are not limited to:
- Folkmoots (Armored and Unarmored Combat Practices, along with whatever other projects, teaching, and socializing people come for)
Park in LOT 8, and enter the Ruth S.Coleman building / Roger Bacon Hall (marked as E on the map) through the gray double doors next to the lot. Go through a second set of double doors into the stairwell, and enter the hall to your left. Turn right, and walk to the end of that ground-floor hall. Turn right at the T-intersection. Walking down the hall, you will see the kitchen through windows to your left and a courtyard to your right. Keep your eye on the left wall, at or anywhere above waist height; there will be small signs pointing to a Judo Room. You will turn left into a corridor, then into stairs on your right. You will want to go down the stairs into the basement and hang a right. Follow the signs. IT IS HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE! We also have an elevator and a ramp.
Cafeteria in Ruth S. Coleman building / Roger Bacon Hall
Uses of this space include, but are not limited to:
- Well, eating; some of us join the students and each other for meals before other activities here. All you can eat for a reasonable price.
This isn't the only cafeteria/dining hall in the building, so make sure you look for the one at the far end of the ground floor from the entrance mentioned here.
Park in LOT 8, and enter the Ruth S.Coleman building / Roger Bacon Hall through the gray double doors next to the lot. Go through a second set of double doors into the stairwell, and enter the hall to your left. Turn right, and walk to the end of that ground-floor hall. Turn left at the T-intersection. {Here's where it gets sketchy till I can confirm the rest of these directions. -- Webminister} I think you go to the end, before turning right for a ways, then right again.
Kliebhan Conference Center
Park in LOT 8, and enter the Ruth S.Coleman building / Roger Bacon Hall through the gray double doors next to the lot. Go through a second set of double doors into the stairwell, and enter the hall to your left. Turn right, and walk to the end of that ground-floor hall. Turn right at the T-intersection, but take that long hallway as far down as you can into the Leadership Commons. Turn right, and go through one of the sets of doors, then left through the double doors. There will be another long hallway; go down there past the One Stop Desk, and on the right will be sets of double doors.
