Looking for that perfect name? Need more pageantry in your life? Come join us at Wolves Hollow for the Heraldic Project Day.
The baronial heraldic library will be on hand for those who need to research names. If people can bring laptop computers, they can take advantage of the WiFi to access the wealth of name resources online.
Some of the planned activities are:
1) An introduction to heraldic terms and design
2) Conflict checking
3) The submissions process
4) Uses for Heraldry beyond banners and surcoats
5) What to do/What to expect in Court
6) Silk standard making
7) Plenty of space to work on your banners and other heraldic projects
I will also have a number of handouts available.
Heralds-at-large, if you can make yourselves available to help with consolations, it will be appreciated. For those with sewing machines, please bring them for those who would like to work on banners, surcoats, standards, etc.
If you have any requests for particular resources, or would like to share your expertise on a particular project, please let me know. We will be in Building C on the attached map. Park in lot 3, rather than lot 8 like we usually do.
