Merchant Registration And Information For Merchants

Final date to pre-register for space is August 9, 2008.
(Double-check this on the merchant pre-reg form, though!)

Three things must be sent to the Merchant Steward to reserve a space; without all three, you do not have a reservation:

We have quite a few spaces available, but only on a "first-paid, first-reserved" basis. Fees are listed on the merchant registration form. Only paid reservations will be guaranteed the space requested (see above). This is a camping event, so your space will be outside. You will need to bring your own tent or shade to merchant from. Your space will be what you need for your merchant tent and, if needed, your camping tent. When you are listing the space on the registration form, you need to include tent sizes with ropes; and if you have a camping tent as well, calculate 3 ft between the tents. Please only request the space that you need.

There is drinkable water on site, but not in the camping area. Also note that the park's water is very sulfur-heavy well water; it is safe for human consumption, but not at all tasty, for most folks anyway. (Site water would be fine for putting out fires, watering grass from pits, or washing dishes, though.) Please bring containers to use to haul water to your camping area, or bring your own water.

Note that there is no electricity at this site. (There is electricity in the park, but not in the portion we are using for the event.)

Service animals are permitted at the event, but pets will not be allowed. The park does allow animals, but for liability reasons we are choosing not to allow pets at Border Skirmish. If a pet is brought, you will be asked to take the animal off site. We can provide names of kennels in the area if needed.
