Classes, A&S Display and Bean Count with a PRIZE, Artisan Projects, Bardic Circles, the Performance Area, and Wandering Entertainment, plus whatever other creative fun our staff and you can come up with -- these and more will all be at Border Skirmish this year! ... Or be daring and say, "Dash these organized activities!" and find your own way to practice your crafts! Write or call with your suggestions, or find us at an event beforehand. We'd certainly like to consider any sort of fun!

Arts & Sciences Display And Bean Count With Prize

There will once again be an Arts & Sciences display at Border Skirmish! There will be a populace bean count and a prize given! We do not require documentation of your items; we simply ask for a brief description (What, When, Where, & How). You will earn an extra bean by including the Games theme of the event in your entry (can be a game, depict a game, etc...), but making your entry reflect the theme is not required.

The display will take place in the Northshield Pavilion, and items are to be brought in by 11am on Saturday. Populace viewing and voting will end at 4pm, and we ask that your items be picked up by 5pm.

Performance Arts Area And Wandering Entertainment

Wandering entertainers are encouraged throughout the weekend!

In addition, there will be a designated performance space available all day on Saturday.


Bardic Circle

Of course, there will be the usual Friday and Sturday night bardic circles for certain. Come enjoy the song, story, and poetry of at least three different Kingdoms as we gather round the fire! No separate fees! No extra waivers! Free re-entry for any who like to wander by, leave, and join us again!
