Baronial Championships & Michaelmas Court
Come one and all to Caer Anterth Mawr's Armored Combat and Archery Baronial Championships on Saturday, September 27!

Archery - Inspection and Sign up with start shortly after noon.
Heavy Weapons - Baron Alasdair will be challenging those who wish to fight in the championship tournament at 12:30. The tournament for the Baronial Champion will start shortly after the challenge. For those who wish to fight but cannot or do not wish to accept the title if they win, there will be another tournament after the championship tournament.
Drum Circle - There will be a drum circle at 1:30. Bring your drums whether you would like to play (pots, pans, milk jugs, castanets etc. - anything that can keep a beat) or learn how to play and join in the fun. Dancing is welcome as well.
Scavenger Hunt - At 2:00 there will be a scavenger hunt for the kids. There will be prizes for all who participate and a grand prize for the first to bring all the items to the finish line. Bring a bag to collect your goods in during the hunt.
Arts and Crafts - All day there will be an arts and crafts table for the kids. There will be something for kids of all ages.
A&S - All A&S projects are welcome as well, of course! Display your works of art or just hang out and work on your latest projects with your friends!
Court - Court is scheduled to begin at 6 PM. This Moot is traditionally held at Michelmas, a time to pay rent and taxes; if you have taxes for Their Excellencies, be sure to let Lord Albrecht (the Baronial Herald) know. Also, be sure to send award recommendations to the Baron and Baroness. And, Their Excellencies request that their three Orders meet in the 5:00 hour.
Potluck - There will be more information on the potluck to follow. Along with bringing a dish, please consider bringing a "Champion" recipe to share with everyone (it doesn't have to be the recipe of the dish you bring). We will take all recipes and put them together for anyone who would like them after the event.
Volunteers - We need volunteers in the following areas. See the Autocrat at the event if you would like to volunteer for any of these.
  *2 volunteers needed to sit with the kids at the arts and crafts table. We would like to split the day from 12-3 and 3-6.
  *3 volunteers to set up their Excellencies' chairs and such for court at 5:30.
  *A few people to set up tables and chairs for the potluck.
  *A couple of people to help set up the pot luck

The festivities will take place at the Menomonee Park Beach House (W220 N7884 Townline Rd, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051), from Noon until - 10 pm. The site is handicap accessible and discretely wet.  There is no site fee, but donations are welcome. There is a $5.00 per car entrance fee to get into the park. Feast is potluck, please bring a dish to share.

From US Highway 45 North: Exit on Silver Spring Drive, turn west.
Turn right (north) on County V (Town Line Rd)
Turn right into park, follow signs to the Beach House.
